Laura also practices juvenile dependency law, in keeping with her passion to work with youth and families. Laura has a deep commitment to promoting the interests of children and adults with special needs.

Born in Mexico City, Laura is fluent in Spanish. Laura obtained her Juris Doctorate at Thomas Jefferson School of Law. She acquired her California Bar license in 1992.

Outside of work, Laura is an enthusiastic fan of NFL football, travel and classic rock.
